There are three water parks in Crete. 'Acquaplus' outside Hersonissos on the road to Kasteli claims to be the biggest in Crete and the best in Europe. The 'Water City', which claims to be the wildest in Europe is situated at Anopolis, between Heraklion and Hersonissos. And finally there is the 'Limnoupolis Water Park' is in Varipetro about 8 km south of Chania, which claims that all their games are similar to those found in Disneyland. All parks are open the entire season (April through October).

AcquaPlus

The Park is situated just outside Hersonissos on the road to Kasteli and Lassithi.
It was the first water park in the Balkan region. It has a large garden area with Cretan flowers and trees together with exotic flowers. The slides and the games pass between trees and climbers.

Water City

The water park "Water City" at Anopolis, between Heraklion and Hersonissos  claims to be the wildest water park in Europe.

Limnoupolis Water Park

Limnoupolis is located 8 km from Chania near Varipetro.

The big pool in the park is 1.500 m2 and has a pool bar, Jacuzzi and an artificial small island with wooden toys, accessible via a hanging rope-made bridge. Next to it is the kids pool for the youngest.

Limnoupolis Water Park has an artificial river or "lazy river" 260m long and 3-3,5m wide with stones, caves and waterfalls. You can learn more about this water park
