Airports

Crete has two international airports. Heraklion Airport and Chania Airport.

Heraklion International Airport "Nikos Kazantzakis"  is the largest. It is located about 5 km (3 miles) east of the city of Heraklion. From Heraklion Airport there is a 45 minutes drive to Villa Talea.

Chania International Airport "I. Daskalogiannis" is located on the peninsula of Akrotiri, about 14 km (9 miles) from the city of Chania. From Chania Airport there is about 1½ hours journey by car to Villa Talea.
