The Crete Golf Club at Hersonissos

A group of local businessmen have recently built the first golf course on Crete.
The Crete Golf Club is designed by Bob Hunt. He is also the architect of the links course at Tobago Plantations, home of the annual Tobago Plantations Seniors Classic on the European Seniors Tour.

The course is a desert-style lay-out, with expansive fairways through rocks and ravines. The course boasts a series of memorable holes that will test every aspect of a golfers repertoire and offers stunning views over a mountainous landscape.

The clubhouse is designed with comfort and practicality in mind and features commodious men's and women's locker rooms complete with showers and rental lockers plus a well-appointed entertainment suite which visiting groups can hire in order to look after their guests in private.

The golf club is located 24 km east of Herakleion Airport and 7 km south of Hersonissos.
